- 1 head broccoli
- 1 onion
- 1 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 filets of salted anchovies
- pine seeds
- sultanas
- a can of peeled tomatoes (pelato)
- salt, pepper, saffron.

Broccoli
Broccoli is a plant in the cabbage family, whose large flower head is used as a vegetable. The word broccoli, from the Italian plural of broccolo, refers to "the flowering top of a cabbage". Broccoli is usually boiled or steamed but may be eaten raw and has become popular as a raw vegetable in hors d'œuvre trays. The leaves may also be eaten.

Pasta con Broccoli

- Boil broccoli and put water aside.
- Fry chopped onion in oil and add white wine.
- Mix well and add chopped broccoli, pine seeds and sultanas.
- Cook covered on low fire.
- A few minutes later add pepper, salt and peeled tomatoes until mix
acquires a creamy texture.
- Add some saffron and oil.
- Boil pasta al dente in the water where the broccoli was boiled.
- When done mix with the broccoli sauce and serve hot.
